Samuel L. Jackson only voted for President Barack Obama because of the color of his skin, the Hollywood actor revealed in a profanity-laced interview in the March issue of Ebony magazine.
“I voted for Barack because he was black. ’Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them,” Jackson said. "That’s American politics, pure and simple. [Obama’s] message didn’t mean sh-t to me. In the end, he’s a politician. I just hoped he would do some of what he said he was gonna do.
According to the New York Post, the "Pulp Fiction" legend repeatedly dropped the N-word during his cover story interview.

He's entitled to vote for any candidate, for any reason as we all have a right to do, but he also reinforces the myth or stereotype that all black people did the same.

There were also a lot of people who voted for McCain only because he was white.

If he did indeed vote, he must have voted in a state that allows convicted felons to vote because that's what he is, a foul-mouthed, highly paid ex-con.

Sam let a lot of black cats out of the black bag in this interview.

Samuel L. Jackson is partially correct. in 2008 we all voted for Obama. Black and white... we were definitely drinking the Kool-aid then.
In 2012, that is not going to be the case. You will find more blacks voting for Obama for reasons Jackson stated and more whites voting against him because he has failed as a leader. Not everyone is a racist like Jackson and Morgan Freeman would lead you to believe. I was proud to say I voted for Obama in 2008 for change and I will be proud to say I voted against him in 2012 for common sense.

We may not have got exactly what we hoped for, but I'm sure as hell not voting for any of the whack job repubs with the way they're carrying on. They're insane.

Good comment Bman, but I personally don't think the alternatives are a worse option.
Here's my main problem with Republicans today, when it comes to letting the Bush tax cuts expire, which are far in favor of the rich, it was a "that issue is not even up for discussion". However, when it comes to the Payroll tax cuts, which is strictly a working person's benefit, Republicans have to fight, negotiate and be convinced to pass it. That simply doesn't make sense for me... as a working person. If I were rich, I'd likely vote Republican. It's illogical for one to vote against his own self-interest.
